DigitalTrust is honoured to have co-presented at ID4Africa with Dr. Hatwib, Executive Director NITA-Uganda on UgPass- Uganda’s National Digital ID and Credentials Wallet.We shared how UgPass empowers Ugandans through consent driven anytime anywhere access to services from government and enterprises. Kudos to leadership of Dr. Hatwib and entire NTIA Team for driving this nationwide Transformation. UgPASS has won the Prestigious WSIS Digital Service Design Prize 2024. The WSIS Prizes are part of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) forum, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). WSIS aims to build a people-centred, inclusive, and development-oriented Information Society. The WSIS Prizes recognize projects that implement WSIS Action Lines and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Digital Service Design Prize specifically acknowledges innovative digital solutions that improve public services.
